FADOHT to play South Island in March

Practitioners of noise rock and post-punk Flogging A Dead One Horse Town have announced four tour dates in March following their successful performances as a newly formed three-piece in Tauranga and Auckland in 2022.

The shows include a rare South Island outing for the long-endearing MUZAI act.

With Tim and Dave now joined by Dave’s next of kin Mitch on guitar, the work of the three-piece was exemplified through the release of their last EP, 15, followed by performances at hallowed Auckland haunt The Wine Cellar and the obligatory festival appearances curated by Your Enabler Presents.

The performances in the South Island are of particular note, as the band have yet to set foot off the North Island despite the band members residing around the Lyttleton area. At the same time, Palmerston North and Wellington appearances are a welcome return for the beloved noise merchants.

Tour dates:
  • March 10 2023 – Darkroom, Christchurch (supporting Swallow The Rat)
  • March 11 2023: Crown Hotel, Dunedin (supporting Swallow The Rat)
  • March 17 2023: The Welsh Dragon, Wellington
  • Match 18 2023; The Stomach, Palmerston North

All tickets for the shows advertised are available through Under The Radar.

Flogging A Dead One Horse Town’s latest EP, featuring the single Big Man In A Big House, is available on all digital platforms and for download through MUZAI Records’ Bandcamp.
